Workload Sharing Guidance

News

The previously published guidance to assist local authorities entering into a workload sharing agreement has been updated.

As many local authority Verifiers will be aware, competence of those involved within the construction sector is important. Whilst the revised guidance is aimed at one local authority engaging another local authority for the purpose of building warrant assessment, text has now been incorporated into the document acknowledging the competence assessment that local authority verifiers are all subject to and makes suggestion that where assistance is sought out with the local authority family, that the competence of others that may be engaged should be considered.
