SBSH Roadshows 2026 - Update

The request for notes of interest in attending our 2026 Roadshows will shortly be circulated to Building Standards Managers/Team Leaders.

Since our previous communications, there has been a change to our Aberdeen venue.

The finalised venue details are as follows:

• Ayr on the 30th April 2026 at the Ayr Campus, University of the West of Scotland, University Ave, Ayr KA8 0SX
• Aberdeen on the 14th May 2026 at the Copthorne Hotel 122 Huntly St, Aberdeen AB10 1SU
• Edinburgh on the 21st May 2026 at the COSLA Conference Centre, 19 Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh EH12 5BH

The draft agenda for each event is:

10:00 – Coffee/tea and roll, or similar

10:30 – SBSH Introduction, achievements and forward (Session 1)

11:30 – Coffee/tea 11:45 –SBSH Technical session focusing on housebuilding (Session 2)

12:45 – Lunch

13:45 – SBSH Technical session focusing on the provision of specialist advice (Session 3)

14:45 – Closing remarks

15:00 – Close

As previously noted, there is no charge to attend these events and catering will also be provided.
