SBSH - Best Practice Guidance for Temporary Demountable and Raised Structures

Temporary Demountable and Raised Structures

The Scottish Building Standards Hub have updated their previously published best practice guidance on temporary demountable and raised structures.

The publication now contains the addition of case studies, and whilst originally released as guidance solely intended to support Local Authority Building Standards teams, it is now publicly open for wider use.

The intent of the guidance is to enhance general knowledge and understanding, whilst promoting a consistent and robust approach to processing Section 89 applications relating to raised structures and the licensing of temporary demountable structures.

It is also useful for a wider range of stakeholders, including event organisers and applicants.
