SBSH 2026 Roadshows

Following the success of the Scottish Building Standards Hubs 2025 Annual Conference, and from the feedback received to roll out further events in 2026, we are please to confirm our intention to hold a series of Roadshows which will provide the opportunity for wider building standards teams to learn more about what the SBSH can do to support local authorities in the services and activities we deliver.

These events will be more technical in nature than the annual conference and are primarily aimed at wider building standards teams, particularly practising surveyors.

The proposed location and dates for these events are as follows:

Ayr on the 30th April 2026

Aberdeen on the 14th May 2026

Edinburgh on the 21st May 2026

There will be no charge to attend these events and catering will also be provided. As such we are promoting attendance in person for the added benefits that this networking opportunity will bring, however, we do propose to hold an on-line Roadshow event after the summer holiday period for those who may have difficulties reaching one of these venues.
